The Saint Sebastian Sports Project, once again, blessed many inner-city Catholic Schools with the opportunity to visit O’Donnell Hall at American Martyrs Church yesterday to collect donations from Skechers USA, Inc. SSSP has partnered the past two years with Skechers to help students in need. The hall was filled to capacity with new clothes, jackets, socks, backpacks, lunch bags, sportswear, shoelaces, watches and so much more. Cars and trucks were filled with boxes and bags of goodies as far as the eye could see.
A BIG thank you to SSSP and Skechers USA, Inc. for their serving hearts. A special thank you to Clare Gurbach, Karin Muff, JP Murphy and all the amazing volunteers at SSSP. Susan Armendariz, Development Director at Nativity Catholic School said, “We are truly grateful to SSSP for sponsoring inner-city sports programs for Catholic Schools like Nativity. SSSP goes over and above to support their schools with special opportunities like today. Our students and their families will be truly grateful!”
