Easter greetings dear Alumni, family and friends of Nativity,
“I have risen and I am with you still, alleluia” Psalm 139:18
Our students continue their online distance learning with enthusiasm and excellent classroom participation. As they conclude their 4th week of the “new normal,” they and our faculty welcome Easter Break. Our Easter celebrations this year will be a bit different; we won’t be attending our special church services in person, our Easter picnics, dinners, and gatherings will be considerably smaller, and our menus may be a bit different too. What is important however, is recalling the significance of this great Holy day and the promise and hope of everlasting life.
The mission of Nativity School, established over 95 years ago, is thriving, despite the school building’s temporary closure. Our hardworking faculty continues to show great commitment to our students and their families. Their positivity and support for one another is a beautiful gesture of love. We truly cannot get through this challenging time without them. Your continued support and prayers are also another example of love, thank you!
As members of our community, it is our wish that you also feel this immense sense of community and that you recognize that you also are not alone. Your Nativity School family has kept you all in thoughts and prayer these past few weeks. You are not only our friends, but members of a big family that loves you.
While Nativity School is responding to the needs of the times, our families are impacted by this pandemic and are in great need of your support. Our Sponsor-A-Student Program serves to help those families directly who have either lost their job or have a reduction in work hours and are now unable to pay for tuition. We hope to raise a substantial amount of money to relieve these families from their tuition responsibilities so that they can focus on taking care of their essential needs. If you are able, a gift in any amount to support this effort will make a difference in the lives of our students and their families, helping to ease some of the burden they are experiencing at this time.
Easter brings the promise of all things new, and may the greatest sacrifice our Lord Savior made, be remembered and extolled every day. We at Nativity School continue to hold you and your families in our prayers.
May our Lord bless and keep you and your loved ones always.
