Students Jog Their Hearts Out For Nativity

October 11, 2012 by Susan Armendariz

Jog A Thon 2012Despite the threat of rain, the 4th Annual Nativity Jog-A-Thon was held on Thursday, October 11th.  Students in grades kindergarten to 8 participated in this fun-and-fitness-filled event, each getting supporters to sponsor their laps to raise much-needed funds for the school.

“Last year the Jog-A-Thon raised almost $8,000 and we hope to better that this year,” notes Nativity Principal Antonio Felix.

Running laps around the school’s playground, with their parents and teachers cheering them on, the children smiled and sweated as they pushed themselves to complete their laps to support their school.
