Nativity School embraces International Day with colour, culture and dancing.

May 1, 2016 by Susan Armendariz

On Friday, April 29 Nativity Catholic School celebrated International Day. The students of Nativity represent many different nationalities. Parents were in attendance to enjoy their students during a variety of dances celebrating that multicultural mix.

The courtyard was decorated in themes that highlight the culture of different countries and hundreds of people enjoyed an afternoon of dance from around the world. Students drew pictures and displayed some of the traditions associated with the country.

“I didn’t know much about the country we represented before we prepared for International Day, but I’ve learned a lot over the last couple of weeks,” said one of our 7th grade students.

It was a great day — a time for our children, parents, and community to shine!
