Students at Nativity celebrate ‘May Crowning’

May 25, 2016 by Susan Armendariz

It is a tradition here at Nativity Catholic School to have our annual May Crowning and Procession after First Communion. On Saturday, May 14th thirty-seven children received Jesus in the Eucharist for the first time. Our First Communion children lead our procession for the May Crowning on Wednesday, May 18th bringing many beautiful flowers to our Queen, Mary. We were blessed to have many First Communion families in attendance whose grandparents are also members of the parish. It is incredibly special to have so many families with a legacy of care and support for this community.
