Re: Nativity School Closure Tuesday, March 17th- March 31st

Yesterday you received a letter from our office stating that Wednesday, March 18th would be an in-service day to allow our faculty the opportunity to prepare a “distance learning plan” in the case of school closure. Please read update below:

Dear Parents,

I pray this letter finds you well and safe.

The Nativity School Faculty, Staff and Administration, in conjunction with the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, continue to actively monitor the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation and update our response based on the guidance we receive from the Archdiocese and state and local Public Health agencies. The situation is very fluid and evolving each day and we want to assure you that the priority of our staff is the health and safety of our students and all members of our school community.

With that said Nativity School will be closed effective immediately from Tuesday, March 17th – March 31st (or until further notice).

Monday, March 16th will be a student-free day to provide our faculty time on campus to prepare for online and other remote learning to ensure our students continue their learning from home. Parents are asked to come to the school between the hours of 12:00pm-3:30pm to pick up packets and or other materials from their child(ren)’s teacher(s). All events and activities during this time have been postponed until further notice.

On behalf of our team, I cannot thank you enough for your cooperation and understanding during this very challenging time for our local and global community.

May our Lord bless and keep you all,

Sra. Reynoso-Gonzalez           Fr. Ever M. Quintero
Directora                                   Pastor
